The sleeve notes say it all This LP presents Alma in a new light for apart from her 'happy go lucky' songs for which she is so famous she demonstrates her great ability to sing dramatic numbers.

The Melody Maker of July 29th 1961 wrote: Our Alma usual in such effervescent vocal mood is more subdued on "With You In Mind" - even though several of the tracks are taken at a swinging tempo.

That somewhat arch approach that some may have been found a trifle irritating in the past is noticeably absent on this album, which must surely rank as one of Alma's best efforts to date. The sons are excellent - we particularly liked the charming title song - the accompaniments are first rate.
